There are so many different routes such as vineyards and chestnut groves in the South, greenfields and thick forests, promenades, mountain pastures or the Rittner Horn.
On each tour you can enjoy a magnificent view to the surrounding mountains. Agriturismi and alpine huts invite you to enjoy and try delicious regional dishes.

Mountainbiking on the RenonThose who are really into biking find a great offer of possible driveways to try out. The driveways vary from easy tours to more difficult one's or even adventurous tours so that everyone can explore the Ritten on its own way.What characterizes mountain biking on the Ritten is being active and enjoying the fresh air of the mountains and nature.
The mountain railway onto the Rittner Horn and the cable car to Bolzano are common means to get over some altitude and to go on a panorama-tour.
Horse riding / lama trekkingExploring the sunny Renon mountain on a horse is a real adventure for horse enthusiasts.Some farms of Renon offer rides across the countryside for children and adults, trial lessons and courses but also trekking tours such as the lama or alpaca tour.
Swimming
The lake of Costalovara takes part of one of the 10 cleanest sweet water lakes in Italy and is a popular spot for hot summer days.
The good quality of the water attracts nature lovers.
It is easily reachable even without a car taking the narrow gauge railway.
For those who are not so into lakes can choose between two swimming pools one in Klobenstein and the other one in Oberbozen. There you can have fun even with babies and children.
Winter-activities
SkiingThe Corno del Renon is an ideal ski resort for families, beginners and those who enjoy skiing. Well preserved slopes, a lot of sun and an incredible view are the perfect conditions for perfect winter vacations in Ritten.
SledgingSledging on the natural toboggan run means fun for the whole family. Sledging can be lent at the valley station. You can reach the Mittelstation easily with a mountain railway where the tobbogan run begins.The piste goes through forests, meadows and mountain pastures and ends up at the valley station.
Winter hiking - SnowshoeingDisconnecting from fears and problems and recharging one's batteries, enjoying the silence and being enchanted by the white winter landscape – anything is possible when hiking in Ritten during the winter time. If it is special snowshoes or even just normal one's just be careful to enjoy the view above the surrounding mountains.By the way: On the Corno del Renon you can find the first Winter-Premium-Path.
Ice skating - Ice stock sportFor those who prefer ice instead of snow the famous ice rink in Klobenstein is the best adress. It is the fastest outdoor ice rink in the world with a view above the dolomites. Besides the rink there is also an indoor ice rink where Hockey usually takes place. People who are more into nature will fall in love with the idyllic Wolfsgrubener See. The natural ice that is carefully prepared attracts many ice stick experts.
